Operating System: Windows XP - Professional PC Experience: Some Experience | Hi, I have a Vista Pc. When I try to connect to my wireless network, it starts playing about, either not connecting at all, connecting with limited acess or sometimes connecting ok. Could you please tell me if you have this and how to fix this problem. Many Thanks Adam |

Operating System: Windows Vista - Home Premium PC Experience: Elite PC Guru | It will be a port issue - Come back with the router and we will go from there - also depending how you connect to the router - you can use the inbuilt windows to connect (this normally has issues) or you should have got a disk with the USB or PCI card - I personally would use that to configure the connection. If you just wanted to check if the router is ok - then plug an Ethernet cable directly into the PC and Router and that will say if there are any issues with the router or ISP

Operating System: Windows Vista - Home Premium PC Experience: Elite PC Guru | So when you try and set the connection up - are you saving the connection and the password? There is a small tickbox bottom left to do this. Do you know if you have a Access Control on the router? - this is done with Mac addresses, you have to put the MAC addresses of all the PC's that use the router into a page on the router? If not then it sound likes you need to reinstall the wireless driver
