Hi

What is the exact error message you get?

Have you tried to Restore Advanced setting in Internet Explorer?

Reset or Restore Advanced Settings in Internet Explorer 7:
  1. Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options.
  2. Click on the Advanced tab.
  3. In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, click Restore Advanced Settings or click Reset
  4. When Internet Explorer 7 finishes restoring the default settings, click Close, and then click OK two times.
  5. Close Internet Explorer 7. The changes take effect the next time that you open Internet Explorer 7.
Warning: Reset will restore all default settings for Internet Explorer!

Try uninstalling WMP11 and restart your PC. Download it from Microsoft and install again. I had that problem years ago and I managed to fix it that way.

It's not as easy to uninstall WMP from Vista as it is from XP
