What would be interesting to see is if you go back to a DHCP addressing, would it work? Maybe the computer was stuck.

Well i had to re run factory settings but it seems the info i had for my wired network has stoped working . if i could get a hand sometime but only when you can as i know you guys have helped me before.

Gotta love Vista.

Go to All Programs, Accessories, right click Command Prompt and click Run as administrator. Then do the IPCONFIG /flushdns.
