Question Adding more ram

Im tring to add more ram to my computer, but i've been told not to add just any ram to it.

my specs:

Machine name: BURNZY-PC
Operating System: Windows Vista™ Home Premium (6.0, Build 6001) Service Pack 1
System Manufacturer: Packard Bell BV
System Model: IMEDIA 2215
BIOS: Default System BIOS
Processor: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU E1200 @ 1.60GHz (2 CPUs), ~1.6GHz
Memory: 766MB RAM
DirectX 10

Graphics:
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 7050 / NVIDIA nForce 610i
Manufacturer: NVIDIA
Chip type: GeForce 7050 / NVIDIA nForce 610i

Link to pc:

I have two sticks of ram here, only fitting the one

The missing ram is probably allocated to the video card.

...if it is, you need to go into the bios and release that memory, as you already have a 256MB card.
