Operating System: plus VISTA ultimate PC Experience: Some Experience | I have a main monitor (Samsung 226cw) connected DVI to an nVidia GeForce 9600GS card. This has been working fine ... now addded a second monitor - a Samsung 710V. Correct drivers are installed and control panel seems to show all things fine (pic attached) In practice have a problem ... On boot up, primary monitor stays 'off' i.e. nothing displayed, and only extended desk area on second monitor. If I unplug secondary monitor from Graphics card .. primary comes into life, and if I then plug second monitor back in both work OK ... and as expected (enalraged desk area) It does show on display settings that main monitor is set as primary (which would seem to be correct) Running Vista 32bit |

I'm not familiar with the term plus as used with the Vista Ultimate operating system. Have you tried these? Update drivers. Dragged monitors to opposite sides. Set primary to secondary. Switched output cables. Set resolution to same settings on both. Sorry but I don't have dual setup so I can only guess. | |
