Operating System: Windows Vista - Home Premium PC Experience: Pc Guru | What resolution are you trying to play the games at the 8400GS is a budget card and may just be able to cope at 1024x768 but will need the majority of the 'effects' turned off like bloom and shadows.
Make sure you are running the latest driver - one was released today from Nvidia

Operating System: Windows Vista - Home Premium PC Experience: Pc Guru | Right seeing as this is related to your other post -
open add remove programs from control panel - remove the nvidia driver - DO NOT REBOOT
Manually navigate to C:/Nvidia and DELETE all files in that folder.
reboot and then install the latest driver that was released today

Operating System: Windows Vista - Home Premium PC Experience: Pc Guru | 1440x800 is not a native resolution - try 1024x768 and see how that runs.

Operating System: Windows XP - Professional PC Experience: Intermediate | Hello Froggy. It seems that you are either infected with Malware or there is a hardware conflict in your system. As I am a expert in neither field, all I can do to assure you is to please wait patiently till someone more experienced comes and reviews your problem. Thank you for your patience and co-operation.

Operating System: Windows Vista - Home Premium PC Experience: Pc Guru | ok - when you say the colours mess up - are there black horizontal lines - this indicates a heat issue.
did you remove the old graphics card drivers - to do this
download the latest driver for your model.
then goto add/remove programs and remove the graphics driver will be ATI or NVIDIA and then manually navigate to C:/ there will be a file called NVIDIA or ATI and then enter that folder there should be 1 file in there for eg 188.12 (Nvidia) or 8.9 for ATI - DELETE all the files and then restart.
install the new driver you downloaded and see how it goes please.

Operating System: Windows XP - Professional PC Experience: Some Experience | the problem with the online game isnt every time but when it happens there are no black lines, the colours are all mixed up, eg if im a yellow taxi then it well be greean and blue etc.
i have unintsalled my previours graphics drivers, which were a onboard graphics card driver. in the folder nvidia there is only my latest drivers there. |
