Help, I can not install this version of the game. EA have already replaced one copy thinking it was faulty. When I try to install all that happens is the game sits in the dvd drive and the light flashes and my computer freezes! The game has installed on other computers that have the same spec as mine, has anybody out there got any ideas!

You can download the latest update (version 1.02) for the game here: LotrBfMe-102-english.exe

You may be affected by another issue: Game performance may be poor on a Windows XP-based computer that is using a dual-core processor

I recommend you check for any operating system updates: Microsoft Update. The most important ones are DirectX and any device drivers.

If you still have problems, take it up with EA's technical support.

Thanks for input problem solved! swapped game with friend, for lor Battle for middle earth 2 (not collectors edition) game works fine!!
