Hi Willstone

Welcome to Free PC Help

By comparing the laptop specs here
http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/sto...rmationSection
to the system requirements here
http://www.microsoft.com/games/pc/fl...x.aspx#sysreqs
there should be no problem whatsoever.

Be aware however that should you buy it from PC World that you may not get a Vista recovery or reinstallation disk should the operating system go pear shaped.

You have a good laptop there Will.
Regarding the gaming add on aspect I'm afraid I wouldn't know, sorry mate.
I suggest you play it or go to the particular games website.

Stick with the Compaq mate.
Just make sure you get the restore/reinstallation disks.

I find it odd that you first ask for a recommendation then point out that the Toshiba may be better.

I told you what I feel Will, go with what you will, (no pun intended)
