*I used my Dell Insperon 6400 laptop on vacation in a hotel, had problems connecting with hotel Wifi, but eventually suceeded. I started my laptop after loading lots of pictures, and upon opening, all my documents, folders and photos have dissapeared. Its as if i have just purchased the laptop. I have tried 'system restore' the laptop but nothing has happened. The laptop is around 3 years old. I use XP Home 2002 as the operating system. Can anyone help as really need to get hold of my documents and photos.
I saw another thread with similar probs, he was advised to go to start/ Run/ and type in .doc .jpg
When I do this I get warning message Windows canīt find either.
Help please !*
