My NAS drive runs on Linux and has a built in iTunes server, so on iTunes I just tick the box to search for shared libraries and away you go, in theory!
The NAS drive is managed through the internet by typing the ip address in my browser.
It used to work then I formatted my laptop and from then its not been working properly so its probably something simple but like yourself I dont normally use iTunes for network sharing so its beyond me really. |
