and things just get better...got a new adapter its a general fits all type ..coz its cheaper..its the right volts watts amps ...when i first connected it it started ok but then i had to disconnect and run off the battery and within 20 seconds it came up low battery and shut down it had been charging for over 2 hours prior now i cant get it to boot up as it starts to boot then shuts straight down ..it has a battery light on but is obviously not charging...i realise the first conclusion is the battery is shagged but should i not be able to run the laptop off the adapter even if the battery is shagged ... |
