Right then Wolfey most of that I had already done today including scanning with AVG,Windows Defender,Malwarebytes and Super Anti Spyware and I have now followed through to the end of item5.
Its still doing it.
If you click on the link in OP you will see exactly what is written in the address bar.
I am mystified
It has just done it when I have clicked on a site stored in my favourites.
But if you look lower on that screen it has a filled in box with the URL and you can click the button next to that,which says" Go to URL" it takes you to the site with no problems.
Something is definitely wrong
