There are two scenarios here Noose
1: You bring the laptop in with your recovery disk and they change the boot order in the bios to boot from that disk to take it back to factory condition, this would mean all your stuff is history.
2: You bring the laptop in with your recovery disk which should in theory be a Fujitsu OEM disk for installation to a Fujitsu Siemans PC only to a brand new hard drive.
If the 1st scenario did not work then the old hard drive could be goosed.
The second should work. |
