Hi there.

I have a 2nd hard drive in my PC that has become corrupt. It is not a system drive and is only used as a back up for my photos.
I have tried running CHKDSK in the tools option and also through recovery console but each time i get a message saying 'unable to determin volume type chkdsk aborted'
Can anyone offer any help or advise, i have some photos on there that I really do not want to lose and am at my wits end.
