Or better yet, see here. Internet Explorer 7 vs. Firefox 2
To explain briefly, most people prefer Firefox over Internet Explorer because:
1) Its fast.
2) Its efficient.
3) Its secure.
4) Its customizable.
5) Its free (not unlike Internet Explorer 7 where all depends on your passing WGA tests).
6) And lastly because it is not made by Microsoft (this statement alone stimulates most people out there to try it).
Now, I think you are ready to make your own decision.

It automatically checks you spelling anywhere you type
You can duplicate entire tabs and their history
You can undo a closed tab
It restores your session each time and remembers everything, even a half typed reply
Ad-block plus removes pretty much all the adverts on forums
And its completely customizable https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4327, you can't get better than that |
Ironically I have the opposite problem to you Shrimply in that I have full reign/final say in both desktop and laptops here. I've no problem trying or even switching to Firefox, but my dad hates change - even IE7 would freak him lol.
Back to my original questions. If I change to IE7 is there a way to add the mail icon to the toolbar? - I already added it to the drowdown box?
If I was to add Firefox, do I just add it, or remove IE? - also can I continue to use Outlook Express and does it need to be configured?
