ok let me say firstly i'm a newbie to here so i would like some help plz.
i've just bought a dell studio 540 pc and i want to speed it up a bit. i can tell you the processor is an intel core 2 quad q8200 2.33ghz the memory at the mo is 4gb (4x1gb).
dunno if you need any more info but thats all ive got at the mo.
i expect this is a time old question but basically i want to know if i increase the memory to say 8gb,which i can do according to the crucial website download tool, will it make it any quicker.
p.s my o/s is vista premium 32 bit.

many thanks

Don't bother Para as Vista 32 bit can only access 4gb of ram but you will only see 3gb or if your lucky 3.5gb of ram.

Well to me I'd leave it as it was but have a read of this and see what you think.
