XP or Vista Doug?
Windows XP Home,Dalo.
Web pages that have adds down each side, and flash,I find distracting.
Also the Flashing add across the top, often.

Have a look at this Dougie.
NoScript - JavaScript/Java/Flash blocker for a safer Firefox experience! - what is it? - InformAction (http://noscript.net/)
I use IE7 and OPERA, Wolfey. Didn't want to use FireFox, if I can avoid it.:)
I have had FF, and I,dont feel comfortable with it.Was looking for something to suit the browsers I prefer, mate.

I trialled FF when it was first released and wasn't convinced - good old IE IMHO.
I thought that FF was a bit clunky back in the day.
