Windows 7 professional
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU
memory: 8.00 GB
system type: 32-bit
Graphics card :GT 240(sparkel version)
motherboard :Intel Desktop board DH55TC
Hi and welcome to FpcH
I have split your post from the others and given you your own thread. It will be less confusing this way :)
Your motherboard is a MicroATX form factor.
Basically - this is a smaller than standard board.
Board specs are here:
What is confusing me is that normally a low profile Video Card needs to be fitted. ( Smaller than normal )
Your GT 240 appears to be a standard card. The GTX 460 certainly is.
1 The link I gave above is actually your motherboard.
2. That the GT240 is a standard card and there is plenty of room for it.

Yes - I have had a look at the specs for this card.
It is a PCIe 2.0 which is the same motherboard slot that the new card would need.
You will need a minimum of 450Watts Power Supply Unit.
The GTX 460 is a dual slot card.
In other words - it is wide. You must be sure there is space on the motherboard for it.
It needs 2 x 6 pin PCI power connectors from the PSU.
You will need DirectX 11 on your system.
